The location

In Middle Germany, surrounded by the Harz and Kyffhäuser mountains, the camping site is located at the region's largest river dam (6 km2). Freely accessible (motorhome) parking places with power connection for those arriving late. Separate tent meadow for associations and boiler meetings.
Our guests will find perfect water sports conditions and a harbour area with surfing and boat moorings. The adjacent Kyffhäuser nature park offers interesting observations in any season. In autumn, thousands of cranes come visiting here. Hiking trails with good signage and an outstanding panorama view complete the offer for our active guests. The beach pool with water slide, barbecue and campfire location, playground and boats for rent, is open from May to September. Events from Easter Fires to harbour festival, regattas, beach party, biker meetings, October Festival and New Year's parties are fixed parts of the schedule.
